Hugging Face Builders is a global community program that puts local leaders at the center of the open-source machine learning movement. Builders run city-based chapters — hosting meetups, workshops, hackathons, and talks — creating local home bases for everything open-source AI.

Community Meetups 2–3 hours with longer talks, lightning talks, and networking. The backbone of every chapter — regular, accessible, and a great way to keep your community engaged.

1. You apply — Tell us about yourself, your city, and why you want to lead a chapter.

2. You launch — Once accepted, we'll support you to kick off your first event.

3. You grow — Keep your chapter active and thriving.

Chapters are recognized once they have an active Builder. We review chapters annually to make sure communities stay healthy.
